How to: Hold a Customer
Deliveries > Managing Held Items > How to: Hold a Customer

Holding a customer will update the hold details for all agreement items and subsequently placement items for that customer.

To hold from Customers

  1. Search for the customer that you want to hold items for on Customers.
  2. In the details view, click the options menu and select Hold Customer.
  3. The hold window will appear, enter the from date, the to date (Or check the Indefinite Hold button) and select a reason for the hold from the combo box.
  4. Click Save, the window will close, the screen will refresh and a large red label will be displayed to highlight that the Customer is now on hold. 

To unhold from Customers

  1. Search for the site that you want to unhold items from on Customers.
  2. In the details view, click the options menu and select Unhold Customer.
    The Unhold Customer option will only be enabled if at least one item on the customer is on hold.
  3. You will be prompted to ask if you are sure, click Yes.
  4. The window will close, the screen will refresh and the red On Hold label will no longer be displayed.
