All item holds are applied against Placement Items. If you hold a site, you're actually placing all placement items for that site on hold.
If you just needed to hold some of the items, you would apply those directly to the placement items.
To hold from Site Delivery
- Search for the site that you want to hold items for on Site Delivery.
- In the Placement Items tab, right-click the placement item you want to hold and select Hold Item.
- The hold window will appear, enter the quantity to hold, the from date, the to date (Or check the Indefinite Hold button) and select a reason for the hold from the combo box.
- Click Save, the window will close and the grid will refresh with your hold details listed on the item you had selected.
To unhold from Site Delivery
- Search for the site that you want to unhold items from on Site Delivery.
- In the Placement Items tab, right-click the placement item you want to unhold and select Unhold Item.
The Unhold Item option will only be enabled if the selected item is already on hold.
- You will be prompted to ask if you are sure, click Yes.
- The window will close and the grid will refresh with the hold details now empty on the item you had selected.
To amend hold from Site Delivery
There will be times when the hold dates need to be amended for an item, for example, a site was closed due to unforeseen maintenance and they didn't know when it would be completed. You place the affected items on an indefinite hold until the site notifies you the areas are open again.
- Search for the site that you want to amend hold items for on Site Delivery.
- In the Placement Items tab, right-click the placement item you want to amend and select Amend Hold.
The Amend Hold option will only be enabled if the selected item is already on hold.
- The hold window will appear, update the details as required.
- Click Save, the window will close and the grid will refresh with your hold details listed on the item you had selected.
