The route optimisation process takes into account the load capacity of a vehicle. If the number of items on the delivery exceed that capacity an exception will be shown.

The maximum load capacity for a vehicle is taken from the associated vehicle type.

To set the max weight for a vehicle type

1. On the Home page, click Administration then Data followed by Deliveries and finally Types
2. Click on the Vehicle Types tab
3. Use the search filters to find the vehicle type you want to set the maximum weight for
4. In the grid, select the vehicle type you want
5. Click the Edit button
6. Enter the Max Weight in Kg
7. Click Save

 

To set the vehicle type for a vehicle

1. On the Home page, click Deliveries then Scheduling
2. Click on the Vehicles tab
3. Use the search filters to find the vehicle you want to set the type for
4. Click the Edit button
5. Use the Vehicle Type dropdown to select the type of vehicle
6. Click Save
