The appointments within Service Manager are for scheduling events for a Sales Representatives for customers contact on a specified date/time.
Appointments are available to add for the following records:
- Contractors
- Customers
- Sites
- Sub Contractors
- Suppliers
To add an appointment
As an example we will add an appointment for a customer and assign it to ourselves.
Appointments can only be assigned to users in the Sales Representative role.
- From the home page choose Sales
- Choose the Customer tab
- Find a customer you want to add an appointment for using the search window
- Choose the Appointments tab
- Right click and choose Add Appointment
- Enter any details in the Note box
- Choose a Date and a Time
- If you are in Sales Representative role Rep will be allocated to yourself, otherwise choose a user from the dropdown
- Pick a contact in the Appointment with area
- Choose Save
- The appointments grid will refresh and your new appointment displayed
