The appointments within Service Manager are for scheduling events for a Sales Representatives for customers contact on a specified date/time.

You can add appointments for the following records:

To add an appointment

As an example we will add an appointment for a customer and assign it to ourselves.

Appointments can only be assigned to users in the Sales Representative role.

  1. From the home page choose Sales
  2. Choose the Customer tab
  3. Find a customer you want to add an appointment for using the search window
  4. Choose the Appointments tab
  5. Right click and choose Add Appointment
  6. Enter any details in the Note box
  7. Choose a Date and a Time 
  8. If you are in Sales Representative role Rep will be allocated to yourself, otherwise choose a user from the dropdown
  9. Pick a contact in the Appointment with area
  10. Choose Save
  11. The appointments grid will refresh and your new appointment displayed

Mark an appointment as complete

To mark an appointment as complete view the appointment and tick the Done check box, chose Save. You can quickly mark an appointment as complete by right clicking it and choosing Done.
