You can change the name that Service Manager users see as well as the name displayed to customers on their receipts.
To rename from Event Types
- Click on the Data button on the main toolbar, then click Delivery.
- Click the Event Types tab.
- Select the event type that you want to rename and click Edit.
- Edit the Custom Description field to change the name that your users see and edit the Receipt Description field to change what your customer's see on their receipts.
If you want event types to be grouped together on the receipt, give them the same Receipt Description. For example, if you enter "COLLECTED" as the receipt description for both the Collection and Collection Request types, they will then appear in the same section under COLLECTED.
- Click Save, any combo boxes for event types will be refreshed immediately in Service Manager and the receipt descriptions will now use what you just entered.
