Some items need to be collected before they can be considered cancelled, you may want to keep billing until the items have been retrieved.
You can either add the collection whilst scheduling the cancellation on the Cancellation Wizard, or you can add them later from the Pending Cancellations screen.
To add from the Cancellation Wizard
- Request cancellations for the items you want to cancel as described in How To: Cancel an Item and proceed through the wizard to the collections screen.
- Select the items that require a collection, you can select multiple by holding Ctrl and clicking on the items.
- Click the Amend Collections button.
- In the Delivery Event window, select a collection date, time and a route. You can use the search schedule button to select existing details.
- When you're done, click Save and then carry on with the wizard. You will be able to see your collections on each item.
To add from Pending Cancellations
- Go to the Pending Cancellations and find the site that you're cancelling from.
- Select the item in the items grid at the bottom of the screen.
- Right click the grid and expand the Collections option, or use the Collections button on the toolbar at the bottom, then click Add Collection.

When you're done, click Save. You will be able to see the collection details on each item that you selected.
It is likely that your sales or customer service team will be adding the cancellations, but it would then be your operations team that would need to schedule the collection. In this scenario, we recommend that you setup a "Scheduling" route that the sales team add the collections on to. This route would not be manifested but it makes it easy for the operations team to find delivery events that they need to assign to a driver.
