The Cancellation Wizard is used to schedule cancellations and collections for items on a contract.
You can cancel either a whole contract item or individual placement items.
To schedule a cancellation
- Load the Agreement that you want to cancel on the Agreements screen.
- Click on the Options menu and then Cancellation Wizard.
You can also open the cancellation wizard by right-clicking an agreement item and clicking Cancel Item. The wizard will open with that item pre-selected to be cancelled.
- The wizard will now appear, to begin you need to select the items you want to cancel. There are three ways to do so:
- Click the Add button next to an agreement item. This will cancel all placement items for that item, regardless of quantity.
- Enter a quantity and then click the Add button next to a placement item. This will only cancel the quantity that you entered from that placement item.
- Click the Add All button. This will cancel all contract items and therefore all placement items for this agreement.
- Select a Termination Date and Cancellation Reason in the bottom right of the screen and click Next.
- On the summary screen, you can see all of your pending requests. Click Next.
- On the collections screen, highlight any items that you want to be collected and then click Amend Collection. For more information see How to: Collect a Cancelled Item. Once your collections are added, click Next.
- Finally, you will be shown the details for your cancellations including the termination date and a collection date if one has been scheduled.
To finalise these requests, click Finish. Upon closing, the icons for your items may have changed and if you have cancelled all items on the agreement, the Agreement Status will have changed to "Termination Requested".
